Reset Your Mind
Two special events with Kadam Michelle from KMC DC
June 12: 7pm to 8:15pm | June 13: 10:00am to 12:30pm
Letting Go of Stress
Friday, June 12 - 7:00-8:15pm
Stress has become a constant companion for many of us, affecting our sleep, relationships, and overall sense of well-being. While we often try to manage stress by changing external conditions, meditation offers a deeper and more lasting solution - transforming how we relate to our thoughts and experiences.
In this special evening event, Kadam Michelle will share practical Buddhist methods for recognizing stress, releasing mental tension, and cultivating a calmer, more spacious mind. Through guided meditation and clear explanation, you’ll learn simple techniques you can begin using right away in daily life.
Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike.
Karma: Understanding Cause and Effect in Your Life
Saturday, June 13 - 10:00am-12:30pm
“Karma” is a word we hear often but what does it really mean, and how does it shape our daily life?
In this half-day retreat, Kadam Michelle will guide us in exploring the true meaning of karma and how our actions, thoughts, and intentions shape our experience. Rather than trying to become someone new, we learn how to better understand ourselves, gently let go of unhelpful patterns, and begin creating the causes for a more peaceful and meaningful life.
Through guided meditations, reflection, and practical teachings, you’ll gain tools to make wiser choices, respond more skillfully to challenges, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
