Death & Dying:A Buddhist perspective
Saturday, November 7 - 10:00am to 12:30pm
Death is one of life’s few certainties, yet many of us avoid thinking about it until we have to.
Buddhist teachings on death offer a surprisingly practical and life-affirming perspective. By gently coming to terms with our own mortality, we can learn to live with greater clarity, purpose, gratitude, and peace.
This special event will explore Buddhist teachings and meditations on death and dying, helping us reflect more deeply on what matters most, prepare our own mind with wisdom and courage, and become more able to support others facing illness, loss, or the end of life.
A thoughtful and compassionate opportunity to reflect, meditate, and reconnect with what gives life meaning.
Everyone is welcome.
This class will be taught by our resident teacher, Gen Khedrub. You can read more about him on our Teachers page.
